If you choose to send a letter or something (a private pm to myself) for an NPC they will respond but otherwise plot will not read what you have written on the board unless it is on a...

Brooks you email your logistics person which I believe is Ian and have him send your card to Amy. After that send Amy an email with magic items, spells memorized, points you want spent on production etc, and any food allergies etc you might have as well. :)
