D00d, your tellin me? Can you imagine how many times Rachel has had to take the drumsticks away from me because of all this new GnR crap? And you'd think that at least they would put up "Come Sail Away" for Styx so I could try to get 100% while singing like Cartman. People wonder whats wrong...

    Thin Weapon Construction

It just says the head has to be "noticably thicker" than the shaft. Nowhere does it define the shaft as having to be 5/8" on PVC. Just that it must be "at least" so. I see nothing wrong with a Bam Bam style club so long as there is a defined "head" of some sort. More foam = More squishy =...

Scott, you are right in all of that. But we atill aren't France. And you go to work to pay for all of those Rock Band downloads. --Chazz

If this is the case then I'd like to see if I can get a thrown weapon passed with similar construction materials. Provided it passed an actual safety check and had a Thrown Weapon tag taped to it of course. --Chazz

True but their width makes them unsuitable for anything but the head of a 2-hander. Gotta maintain that minimum shaft measurement. --Chazz

    Thin Weapon Construction

umm, yes. But your confusion has me worried that you are thinking something different than you are aking. How else would you construct say the head of a club or axe or polearm? Just about every mace you've used at CT is UL core, 5/8' foam shaft with open cell taped on to create the head. --Chazz

I dunno Scott, I question how much "***" is available for kicking on a people who have spent nearly their enitre existance starving. Way to go France, 1st time you stand up for yourselves in forever and you do it by smacking around a group of guys that could say Kate Moss is a glutton. I'm not...

Whatever partial personal responsibility they have in Europe is completely offset by the fact that they also have France. So I contend that there must be another reason for their use of latex weapons. The only theory that I have heard that holds any weight is that there are in fact NO LARPS in...

    School of Rock

I've always had a theory about Rush. D00d comes out of the womb and sits his *** in front of a drum kit. There he sits and plays, day in, day out. One day a group of guys come along and hear him... "Woah, D00d, you rock! Wanna join our band?" To which the drummer says nothing and just continues...

    Thin Weapon Construction

The only thing guaranteed to "fly" is 5/8" over PVC. Many chapters will accept alternative techniques if they feel it is up to par. But just because 1 allows don't expect others to as well. I am not sure I'd pass open cell over camp pad. Of course I'd have to see it first no matter what. My...

    Earth Carrier

You have me curious. Can you cite an example of such a monster? At least a relatively standard one? I am just trying to understand here. Why not have it just say "takes double from Earth"? Wouldn't that cover both the "Earth" carrier and "I call upon the Earth".Then you would still have to...

    Earth Carrier

I dunno. I hear ya but I kinda like the "takes double from healing" on a monster card. I find it serves as a nice reminder to all NPCs playing such a card. Many cards have that wording from older DBs or ones that haven't been changed for whatever reason. Now if it were to say "takes quadruple...

I'd just like to emphasize the "Most standard undead..." part. There are undead that do not. Whether that be for non-standard, ritual or plot reasons. But for those rares you can and will most certainly FOIG. --Chazz

    Thin Weapon Construction

ACE hardware as was previously noted. Your local ACE may have it, you can certainly find in at their online store. As per the weapon construction rules the absolute minimum a blade may be is 1 1/4" thick. That is 5/8" laying on 5/8" with no core. So absolute minimum with a .505" core is 1.755"...

    Dryads yet?

Thanks Scott. Hoenstly, this guy showed up saying he wanted to take pictures. I know he spoke with some staff memebers previous but essentially he just came and did his own thing. I only wish I had a clue *** to how skilled he was. I know now though. I've been raggin' on Bobo for the mange...
