Hello everybody!

As we approach the upcoming event, I'd like to go over some things as we are looking at a hard opening of the PCs assaulting Valenzia. As such we are going to do everything possible to have and keep the following opening schedule:

7:00 pm to 9:00 pm - Logisitics will be open. It will be held in the kitchen. As it's not a large area, please queue up with one (or two at logistics' discretion) in the kitchen area for this, and the rest lined up outside.
9:00 pm - Opening ceremonies followed by light RP as Plot makes final prep the hard lay on.
10:00 pm - PCs attack the town.

So what this means is: If you're a PC, set up your sleeping area, get into garb, and come to Logistics as early as possible. Then make sure that any tagged items you're bringing into game are on your person. Finally, try to be ready to go at opening ceremonies if at all possible. It also means that it's going to be dark at hard lay on where you are all starting (up the road into site out of line of sight). As such, have some glow-sticks/in game appropriate lights for before lay on, and you might want some Light spells/Liquid Light to allow you to have light at game start if you're as night blind as I am.

If you're an NPC, after you check in with Logistics, set up your bunk and report to Monster Camp. We will be going over the basics, getting you into garb/weapons, giving your your cards/instructions, and whatnot prior to opening ceremonies to make sure that we can hit the hard opening time.

With this we understand some people may arrive after lay on. Should you arrive late, you'll have to wait until after the fight to check in as our logistics team will be on the field for the fight. As such, set up your space as unobtrusively as you can, then report to Monster Camp where Paul (who is also arriving a bit late) will coordinate you. After the assault we'll get you all checked in and get you into game appropriately.

In addition, it's going to be summer in eastern Washington. It is expected to be dry, sunny, and warm for this event. So, remember to drink water, frequently. Also bring sunscreen and bug spray, then use both frequently. Unlike our normal site there is not a Fred Meyer's or similar nearby, so make sure you bring in what you need as leaving site for these items isn't as quick a trip.

With all this said, the plot team is excited to provide a wonderfully challenging event for you all, and we look forward to seeing you all on Friday!
