ARC Proposal: 2.1 Gobbied Production Update

Summary: This vote updates the language surrounding spending goblin stamps for Production Points to make them relevant to Crafting Material Cost

"Game Items: For every 5 Goblin Points turned in, you can receive one Crafting Material's worth of Adventuring Equipment. Any item found on the Adventuring Equipment lists can be purchased, including scrolls, potions, elixirs, etc. Goblin Stamps can also be redeemed directly for coin, with 1 Goblin Stamp being equal to 1 Copper Piece. During your registration for an event, state what you wish to use the Goblin Points for and Logistics will provide the item(s). You cannot spend more than fifty Goblin Points per Logistics Period of the event (so a normal two-day weekend event would be limited to 100). Crafting Materials cannot be directly purchased with Goblin Stamps.
How did your character get all these things all of a sudden? Maybe you inherited them; maybe you found them on a dead goblin; maybe you stole them from the Sheriff of Notingame. We do not provide the physical representations for any of these things, only the appropriate tags. You must supply the actual scroll, potion vial, armor, or weapon requested.
Full Spell Books may be purchased for 500 Goblin Points each, and full Alchemy Books may be purchased for 250 Goblin Points (note that illegal recipes in your chapter may not be included).
You may purchase Spellcrafting Reagents for 50 Goblin Points. These Reagents may only be used at the event you purchase them, and only for the purpose of Spellcrafting, not for other purposes like Ritual Casting or paying off summoned Elementals."

Vote: Proposal: Update the Game Items section of Goblin Points [Pass]

ARC Bylaw Proposal: 2.1 Bylaw Item Transferability Update

Bylaw Proposed by ARC 2/15/23
Seconded by Gettysburg 2/17/23

Summary: This moves the transferability section out of Treasure Policy (non-player facing) and into the bylaws so that players may be informed on transferability guidelines

ADD
Section 5.4: Transferability
  1. Local Chapter Only Items
    1. Local Chapter Only (“LCO”) items are generally only usable in the originating Chapter however any Chapter may choose to let LCO items transfer in from other Chapters with the following restrictions:
      1. A Chapter choosing to allow the transfer of LCO items into its Chapter must have a policy posted on either the Chapter website or that Chapter’s section of the Alliance LARP forums with any guidelines and restrictions concerning the Transfer Policy.
      2. The Transfer Policy must apply to all LCO items. This provision does NOT take away a Chapter's ability to deny a Magic Item that they feel they do not want in their Chapter. It only requires that a Chapter can't deny one Player’s transfer of an item when another Player is allowed to transfer the same item in, nor can a Chapter set up a Transfer Policy to include only some Chapters and not others.
      3. Items may only be transferred in their entirety. Chapters may not eliminate one or more Effects on an Item as part of their Transfer Policy.
      4. LCO scrolls and Reagents do not transfer between games.
    2. No Chapter is required to allow LCO item transfers.
    3. A Chapter may deny a Player the ability to benefit from this policy if that Chapter feels that the Player is abusing the system.
  2. Restricted Items
    1. All In Game items, other than Coin, Reagents, or items created with Crafting Materials will be marked “Restricted.”
    2. Chapters have the right to determine which Restricted items will be allowed to transfer into the Chapter.
    3. A Chapter reserves the right to deny any Magic Item that it does not wish to transfer into their Chapter.
  3. Artifacts
    1. Artifacts are never able to leave a Chapter specific campaign, though similar items may be available elsewhere at the Chapter’s discretion.
