I've always used the boards for my events info, but I guess that's just personal preference. Sorry.

For whatever reason the firewall at work allows me to access the forums and not the events page. I generally reference the posts in the forum for back blanketing and such.

Also, the events page is updated frequently to only show the events that are going to happen, not those that have passed. If someone wants to donate and back blanket, they have to hunt through the forums to find our schedule.

That said, I finally gave up and just made a google calendar.
