Baron Evan Titos Lyscene invites the adventurer's of Barran, and from the mists beyond, to come join him and his people in setting right many wrongs that have been perpetrated against the commoners of this, once great barony.

* Blighted farmland has been yielding little to no crops, with food becoming almost too expensive for even the farmers to afford. The black market is making some very wealthy at the expense of the all.

* Crime is rife in the city where the rule of law was once held. Please help set this right.

*Slavers are said to be lurking in the collapsed tunnels and catacombs under the city.

* The dead have been found to be more restless than usual with an immense abomination said to be in the hills.

The people of Geistbadden know of the tribulations the adventuring community recently went through with the villain known as Ash. The refugees you have safely escorted out of the Overlands are welcome in Geistbadden to make a home here and a chance to start over.

We hope you will join us at this gather to set many things right again in nine days time.

- Baron Evan Lyscene

Baron Evan Lyscene,

The blades and spells of the Black Forest shall be gathered on that day. We wll lay rest to any restless undead, capture any slavers, investigate the farms, and of course bring any criminals to justice. We shall be there in nine days time.

Wouldn't it be wise to seek adventurers or other sources out for a boon crop ritual scroll? I feel this will alleviate a lot of the food issue.

Your Excellency,

Clan Vidua hears and answers your call. I believe we have in our possession a bountiful harvest ritual scroll, as well as a number of haven of the living scrolls we would happily donate to the safety of your people. Consider them yours.

I have but four questions:
Are the Flames of Cremation safe?
Are your people still threatened by beast-men?
When last we were there, there operated a necromancer of some substantial power named... I believe it was "Kelker"? "Kolker"? Would you know whether he has been apprehended in the... three? years since or whether he is still at large? If the latter, I would not be surprised if he were not in some way manipulating the undead masses.
Have you seen among your criminal population members of the Brotherhood of Scales?

I understand if you would prefer to answer my inquiries in person or privately for want of prying ears. It is merely my desire to account for threats of which we already have some knowledge.

Lastly, I suspect it is worth mentioning that, while I was cleared of the allegations made against me, I was, while within your lands, accused of the acts of murder and necromancy and duly tried. If you see fit to... monitor my behavior or appoint me a... probationary burgher, I will understand and respect the decision to do so.
Regardless, you shall have our aid. We shall arrive within the week.

I will return to the lands where I protected the Flames, I fought to make sure people stayed safe.

Blighted farms? Dead walking around like they own the place? Slavers being butts?? It seems that things in this part of the mists aren't that different from being home- lots and lots of things for me to shoot.
Anybody got a ward for me to stay in? I promise I'll fill stuff full of arrows for you in exchange. Also I'm kinda stuck here and nighttime is full of terrible. I can also scrounge up food if that's an okay thing to barter with!

Your excellency,
I will be at least passing through the area to ensure the Guild of Celestial and Arcane mysteries is up and running to support the efforts. Please pass my regards along to the Duchess.

It will be good to return to Geistbadden to finish what we started three years ago. You have whatever aid I can provide, Your Excellency. My skills are varied but there are several I can see being useful here again.

Also, Lilavati, I would be happy to introduce you to some of the other adventurers here. We are a fairly friendly bunch; I'm sure someone will have a bunk for you. If you still have need of a Ward I wold be happy to provide one for you as well.

Well, I know where to go now. This is good. I will try to help the trades people in the area when I get there.

I also have a letter supposed to deliver to Vaer'lux of Lordaq, so that's two birds with one stone.
