Good morning/afternoon/evening, everybody! I'm tuning in to say hello and that I will officially be your new HQ General Manager moving forward. I'd also like to throw a big thank you to both Brian Whitham and Dave Ehrhart for serving HQ for the last few years and putting in such amazing effort to create a better, more efficient chapter for us all.
For those of you who may not know me, my name is Donna and I hail from the Philadelphia region. I'm twenty-two years old, have been playing Alliance for the last two years, and have a plethora of prior customer service experience, so if there's absolutely anything I can do for my players, I'm happy to help! You can reach me via PM on this account, via the general manager e-mail (ashburygm@gmail.com), or through Facebook; I try to be as available as possible, so if you don't hear back from me within a day, try contacting me through one of the alternative methods. My mission going forward is to ensure that everyone is heard and everyone is helped; I want to make your LARPing experience the best it can possibly be.
There are a few staff things that should be announced as well. For those who have not already heard, we have officially elected our new Head of Rules, Sean Metzler, Alliance veteran and ARC member. Over the winter, we'll be devising a proper marshal test to offer those interested in becoming rules marshals! Also, for those who are already HQ Ashbury marshals, please contact me as soon as possible. I'd like to know 1. What type of marshal you are (i.e. rules, ritual, weapons); 2. Who certified you; 3. When you were certified. This is both for my and Sean's benefit – we need to know who's already been certified and who should be getting compensation for their help.
On that note, if you are interested in joining the HQ Ashbury staff, don't hesitate to contact me and let me know what you're interested in doing. We're always looking for more logistics, props, rules, medical, and plot personnel, so if you'd like to lend a hand in making HQ bigger and better, shoot me a line and I'll get back to you as soon as possible!
Thank you for your time and I wish everyone a safe, happy winter! And keep an eye on the board, we'll be updating our various policies, not to mention adding some fun in game content to tide you over during the off season.
P.S. Don't forget to submit your winter actions and give us your feedback!
