A New Afters Location

Hullo, hullo! Sorry in advance for the long post ^.^;

It's been mentioned by a couple folks that switching Afters up a bit would be appreciated. So, I did some calling around, and Astoria not being the largest berg ever, managed to come up with a few options. These are locations with enough space to hold Afters, and don't require a deposit, "rent", or an automatic gratuity {no gaurantee's on the last one, sorry :\ }

If you know of any other places, please let me know and I'd be happy to give them a shout and look into it.

So! Since I'm just the person who tends to make the reservations, I didn't want to make the decision for everyone, so I've created a poll here. This will be for Afters for the January game, and since most these places would like a 1-2 week heads up, I'll post the winner on the 16th.

Out of the options I found, both the Rogue Brewery and El Tapatio have a separate space for our group. All of them would like a 2-week notice, and a day ahead confirm for reservations, which I can continue to handle if everyone's fine with that ^.^

The next question is, would everyone like a monthly poll? Or just stick with the decided location for a bit and see how it goes?

{Note: I've already contacted Ft. George Brewing, and they want $500 for a space for a large party.}

Yup - for PC's, NPC's, Plot, etc.

Once the event ends, and clean up is complete, those who would like to do so get together to sort of unwind and unpack their minds after the game ^.^ It's a good chance to catch up with those you don't normally get to see as well!

I would also suggest Bigfoot in Seaside.

I was trying to stick with Astoria/Warrenton since it's closest to where game is, and easy access to the various highways folks take home.

But, if enough people are interested in traveling south a bit to Seaside, I can give them a call, and add it to next game's poll?

To clarify, Afters isn't just for PCs, but is something for any and all players (NPCs too!) who'd like to do so.

It should be noted that "Afters" is NOT an official Alliance Oregon "event" or Alliance-sanctioned happening.

It is merely friends getting together after an event to eat, chat, and have a good time, and Christine is being awesome and trying to organize things for people.
