A Note on the New NPC Fees (September)

After a thorough review of our income, costs and average balance after each event we have decided to implement an NPCing fee as a trial for at least through the October Event.

NPCing starting the September event will carry a $10 fee, this will be used entirely to cover the associate costs of having an additional body on hand, such as the head count, food, make up and insurance costs. We will be crediting all NPCs 30 goblin stamps (equal to the 'donation value' of the fee) as well as your usual XP blankets for any events carrying a NPC fee.

Please note that as always, new players to the Game play free whether they choose to PC or NPC.

Ideally we hope to be able to repeal this fee for our next session, but currently while our large NPC population is a great asset it is also something we need to make sure does not hurt our ability to continue to operate.

As a quick update, we made some progress last event paying off our insurance costs and prepping for the re-up payment early next year and expect to remove the NPC fees AFTER our October event. Our thanks go out to everyone for your understanding and patience during our first year while we get used to all the costs that go into running this incredible game we call Larp.
