A Warning from the Earth Guild

As my information suggests many of those that went to assist in the attack on the castle in Pratorak will be arriving back in the newly rebuilt lower Hopes Reach shortly, I feel a warning must be issued. Recently an increasing number of undead creatures have been sited, many coming from strange circles charged heavily with necromatic energies. These circles have been appearing mostly on the outskirts, but seem to be moving inward towards the town proper. Local members of the Earth Guild should be arriving by the end of the week headed by Journeyman Kovu to investigate, but please be prepared to defend yourselves. Most of the undead sighted have been fairly common skeletons, and zombies, but some have appeared to be heavily charged with necromancy, able to throw chaotic energies and proving very difficult to kill.

The Order of Shadow's Light will be honored to facilitate the investigation and ultimate destruction of these sources of necromantic power. Furthermore, we will dedicate our resources to the protection of the populace of Hope's Reach.

As an aside, I know some adventurers indicated that they wanted to go hunting for cariosus. With the influx of undead, this may be a perfect opportunity to do so.

You have my full support in protecting this area, and I will strive my hardest to assist the effort. Have any of the more powerful undead been seen to possess any special or otherwise recognizable traits that may allow us to differentiate them the others by sight, such as runic symbols, fur clothing, or other such things?
