ACO September Event Announcement and More!

Hello, everyone! First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported our first live event, Calamity’s Tidings! With an action packed day and an impressive turnout, everyone who braved the heat to enjoy the game will go down in history as the first fated adventurers to step foot in Chiaroscuria. We also thank all fighter practice attendees on Sunday who came out to a wonderful community hosted event to hone your skills.

If you attended the event, XP has been awarded to your character - if you did not receive your build, please send an email to logistics@alliancelarp.co and we will sort you out posthaste. Additionally, we would be very grateful if you filled out the post-event survey at the following link to let us know what we are doing right, and how we can improve for the next game! All questions are optional and your identity is NOT mandatory to disclose, so fill out as much or as little as you’d like. No pressure!

We would also like to politely remind everyone that our fundraiser is still live, and will be running through September 6! With tons of great rewards to unlock, including practically limitless stretch goals, you can find more information on the blog post here: https://www.alliancelarp.co/blog/aco-2024-fundraiser . This fundraiser is very important to us as it will define how many props and how elaborate of a production we can afford to put on at our 2025 season events. As a friendly reminder, our board and ownership have unanimously voted that we will NEVER take a profit from any stream of Alliance LARP Colorado revenue, so you can trust your donations to go where they can make the most difference and provide the best value for you, the community.

Our September event is now live for prereg! You can register on the CMA, and head over to https://www.alliancelarp.co/store to grab your tickets. We are introducing tiered pricing with this event - factoring in prereg discounts, you can snag a full event price ticket for $110, a limited run of discounted tickets that includes a staff selected 4 hour volunteer shift for $80, or a full NPC ticket for just $10. There is also an add-on meal plan players can purchase for $30. We know some of these numbers are a little higher than players might be used to; all of these prices have been carefully considered to maximize the value of the games we are running, while also making sure that we have adequate funding to stay sustainable as a business. If you have any questions about where your ticket money is going, please don’t hesitate to reach out to customer service or via discord.

A blog post with more details about the event will be coming soon, as well as a few juicy plot drops about what’s been going on in Chiaroscuria since the conclusion of Calamity’s Tidings.
