Not to step on the Opener's toes, but want to get this information out there too:
The Second Event is the Ducal Tournament.
You heard right, Tournament is early this year. Why? A few reasons, most of which center on requests from*YOU* our insanely awesome PCs and NPCs. The Tavern traps a bit of heat- great for winter events, rough for formal attire in August or September. While it's great to have tournament near the end of the year, winding down the season with back-to-back Tournament and Halloween Closer meant a lot of plot felt like it ended in August. So, we've shook things up a bit.
The Ducal Tournament is May 18th, 19th, and 20th! The Ducal Ball is May 19th.
This information will be out IG very shortly, but I wanted people to have as much time to plan a possible.
Why should you PC?:
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if your character is part of a team that want to compete and win prizes.
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if your character hates trolls.
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if you play a biata or a close friend of a Biata.
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if your character is interested in higher and more obscure aspects of the magical energies of Tar Navarria.
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if you play a character that hates Biata.
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if you enjoy dressing up your character in awesome attire you would normally not DARE to play in
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if you like dramatic political situations (everyone can participate in this, not just nobles).
This weekend will be especially fun to PC if you enjoy being part of something that shapes the canvas of the chapter for years to come.
Why should you NPC?
This weekend will be especially fun to NPC if you like new and exciting, never-to-be-seen again stat cards.
This weekend will be especially fun to NPC if you enjoy making PCs squirm.
This weekend will be especially fun to NPC if you want to wear some awesome formal Ren-Garb, but your character never would.
This weekend will be especially fun to NPC if you like really understanding the motivations of the NPCs you play.
This weekend will be especially fun to NPC if you enjoy being part of something that shapes the canvas of the chapter for years to come.
