Hey everyone,
I was just wondering what some of the slang for Out of Game stuff In Game. For example, in other LARPs I have played events are called market days, fairs, or gatherings. Or to talk about how many hit points armor are they would say how any stones it was worth or dagger blows it was worth.

Any words are much appreciated.

Thanks,
Conor

Basically the exact same. Events are commonly called Market Days. Dagger blows work, but some people dislike it because "One person can swing harder than others with a dagger. Feel free to use Dagger Blows, or say a spell in comparison.

"I'm down a Lightning Bolt Worth" or "A Cure Mortal Wounds should do the trick".

What works for you works.

Ryan,

You stole the words as I was typing them.

Alexander AKA Silp and I are leading a movement to changed the name to "Gathers"?

:)

Gathers'll do, but I still prefer Gatherings, bro. ;)

Don't be surprised if 3 NPCs show up during dinner having PCs clear up a debate they've been having about what it's called when a group of adventurers come together...

+1 to Gatherings. I like the sound of it.

A group of Adventurers are a Gaggle.
Or a Herd.
How about a murder.

I like gathers or gatherings. Sounds very nice and civilized... Makes me want to bring out the fine china, oh yes I do that ;-)

True,
But 9 times out of 10 the incident ends in murder.

Nick, you must be going on those murdering type adventures. I normally elect to go on the talking to people modules, o_O then possibly the killing things. At which point I grab your character :p.

Love YA!!!:D

Actually, I'd love to see that become a thing in-game, where the populace starts calling adventurers out for being murder hobos most of the time in little ways like that.

Adventuring *was* illegal in Wayside for a few months last year...
