Alliance LARP Mission Statement?

With all the discussions going on about game theory and what Alliance should or should not be, I got to thinking (admittedly with my business background) does Alliance LARP have a Mission Statement?

From Wikipedia:

A mission statement is a formal, short, written statement of the purpose of a company or organization. The mission statement should guide the actions of the organization, spell out its overall goal, provide a sense of direction, and guide decision-making. It provides "the framework or context within which the company's strategies are formulated."

According to Vern McGinis, a mission should:

- Define what the company is
-Limited to exclude some ventures
-Broad enough to allow for creative growth
-Distinguish the company from all others
-Serve as framework to evaluate current activities
-Stated clearly so that it is understood by all

The mission statement ultimately seeks to justify the organization's reason for existing.

Trading in the business language for LARP language, the Mission statement should focus on what separates Alliance from other LARPs and what it specifically aims to do better than the competition.

I think the emphasis on roleplaying is key and that a sense of the general mission exists indirectly, but it would help everyone focus on the core reasons why Alliance exists when discussing these larger concepts and ideas if there was a formal Mission Statement.

I have actually done a lot of work in this area. I'll edit this post later tonight with some of my work. I think I'll be able to answer your question.
