An Introduction

I just joined the forum here at the suggestion of a FB friend who saw a pic of me in cosplay. I cannot believe I did not know about this place or about this group... I have been looking for a good group for almost 10 years. I was in a swordfighting guild in college (nerf-ish) But from what I have seen off the website and in the forums so far I am really amazed. I was starting to think I was a dying breed! Thank you guys for existing!

Welcome to Alliance. Hopefully you have a chapter in your neck of the woods (see the State/City individual forums below).

Well, there are a lot of great areas to larp in- between here and Chicago. Camps and such, as well as the hugeness of the Hoosier National forest. I could make a 6 or more hour drive for at least a weekend or something.
 
Well, lucky for you we have such a weekend event coming up - May 27-29!
 
Wow. That's nice apparently you cannot talk about another Larp even in the off topic section.

I had a post that got deleted because it referenced a LARP in Ohio (I presume) that I was suggesting based on the location of the person who was asking the question.
