Why keep it quiet eh?
They really like the gypsy lovin.
They apparently like pursuing colors more so that black and white.
I recovered a four point star shaped emerald from two different of the larger ones when I searched the dust remnants. Neither of them seem to be magical.
One of the larger ones talked- but only kept repeating a slurred phrase which sounded like "May Karo and Banella unlock our clock". I hadn't heard one of them talk before.
One of the larger ones was wearing a dwarven axe on it's belt which was left behind when it turned to dust. It is not an axe I have seen before.
That's what I saw. Who are you writing a report for?
I write many detailed things down- they didn't assign me as a watcher for nothing. Haha.

The toys, as far as I've seen, are brought home by their parents bought from somewhere that I've yet been able to ascertain. Shortly after the child begins playing with the toy, the toy either grows or is large enough already, it attacks and kills the parents, leaving the child alone.
I believe they are, perhaps, a version of the Patchwork Homoculi that the Hags have been sending out, where these are to strike at a domestic level as opposed to those that we encounter which have been sent out to either distract us or keep us busy and away from something else.
Take from that what you may, this is simply what I've observed and been able to peice together.
