Alliance Seattle has been expanding our reach and increasing our player base lately and to encourage that trend we've decided to make another foray into the world of Conventions and Demos. In the past our primary vector for new players has been by word of mouth and while we expect that trend to continue, a well-organized and consistent presence at local conventions may be able to help us expand into completely new territory. I know that our previous efforts with conventions haven't been especially fruitful, but this time we've got a new trick up our sleeve! We'd like to welcome Gabe de los Angeles as our new Convention Organizer. Gabe has years of convention experience and contacts that he's going to be putting to use to benefit Alliance Seattle, and with his organization and oversight, we're hoping to draw new players from conventions and demos.
If you would like to help out at conventions by staffing our booth, let us know as conventions are announced. We will want enthusiastic players who are friendly and rules-knowledgeable for our table, panels or demos. Space at each of these events may be limited by day or time, so be sure to include when you're available. We may have badges at some conventions for you to use while staffing our booth, but those details will be announced on a per-convention basis. We want to make our game look good, so we'll definitely be interested in people who have demonstrated good RP skills, have awesome costuming, and are known for being a positive influence on our game. In exchange for staffing our booth at conventions, you'll be rewarded with Dragon Stamps. More information will be announced as conventions arise, but for now, welcome aboard Gabe!
