You know, the day I want to watch Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman I find literally every Samurai movie I own other than that one. Oh well.
On that note, here is my first waraji sandal. Heh I'm taking the Japanese theme of Dark Elves to heart if you couldn't tell.

Apologies for the lousy picture, I'll have better ones with my good camera when I finish (I actually changed the loom layout so I'm going to end up remaking that one anyway). These things are cheap to make ($7 a sandal roughly) but take about 2 to 3 hours to weave per foot.
