Anyone care to fill me in?

I will be venturing to your lands in the next day, so I was wondering what exactly I am getting myself into..Any particular creature more annoying than the other, that tends to frequent the area? is it flat? hilly? forresty? all of the above? Are there decent sleeping arrangements, or should I plan to bring my own?

Tsuku,

We have had issues with Dark Elves and Lycanthropes, mainly. Although the Dark elves are hopefully on the retreat. We have also had dealings with a vampire in the area. How aggressive he is, is still up for debate. The area in general is war-torn and dangerous, many have weakened their spirit in the circle recently. Unfortunately some have died permanantly. I would come prepared.

The terrain is both forrested and hilly, and the temperature in the area seems to be falling fast. I don't expect snow yet this season, but you never know.

As for sleeping arraignments, there is a large barrakcs-style building with both heat and water to sleep in. Not the most private, but warm and safe. I would reccommend linens and pillows, but the bunks have mattresses, of sorts. There is a tavern to purchase food from, however you can store your own food near where you sleep pretty easily.

I hope this helps.

Idris,

Vampires aren't anything new to me, we have quite a "problem" with them in Zarden as well..save one, who I respectfully call Uncle. Though he's a bit of a different story....

Anyway, Dark elves and Lycanthropes huh? Hmm..we've recently had a dark elf giving us trouble..but he's dead now. No lycanthropes for a while though..

I'd wager that the barracks will be warded as a whole, then? hopefully with all who will be staying there invested? and if this is the case, would a bunk be availible for myself and my effects?

and well..my weapon, fang, and claws are usually all I need to be prepared these days..

Tsuku,

A bunk will be available for yourself. However the the barracks do not, generally, get warded as a whole. We have a good stock of barbarians who might not appreciate that. There are two smaller rooms within that can be warded individually, on a first come first ward basis. I do some creative decorating to section off a small corner to place my ward in. If you have the means to place a ward I would travel with it. If not, talk to some members of the the town. We try to make sure all the adventurers are protected as much as possible in these troubled times.

There are places for you to set up your own tent if you wish more privacy, but it is a very nice barracks building.

Everyone-

It is my impression that your humble innkeeper Casan intends to make sure that the barracks are secured this gathering. He has a plan to assuage the concerns of those people who have an aversion to celestial magics.

A bunk is appreciated, and now I have received word, and one of my crew mates will be joining me. I suppose we'll figure out warding, and bunks when we arrive..likely it will be later in the evening (around 9 hopefully) ..

Safe Travels
