Just curious about the April gameday schedule. Were there to be one April 3rd I might be able to attend, but either way I want to know what's possible to gobby :)

April 2 would be even better! I've been wondering why you guys never have games on saturdays instead of sundays? If there's really good reasons never mind, but if it's just always been that way or the reasons changed, saturdays would probably get you more Oregon types up that way (well one anyway :D ). It's much easier to either drive back late on a saturday night not having to go to work the next morning or even crash with someone after the game and drive back sunday morning. Just a thought to toss out there.

April and May dates posted. Generally Saturdays were not as well recieved and the park we use has often been more croweded with mudanes on Saturdays than Sundays. However, we will talk about having some in future.

I can probably make the April 3rd one.

However, I do have a request... Is it possible we could try to get things going on time (i.e. 11)? As I had to leave at 4, I didn't get much playing time in last week (and I'd have to do the same on the 3rd, probably). I realize that NERO time has nothing to do with reality, but things could have been gotten going (at least with RP) much earlier than they did last Sunday. If "the essentials" get there at 11, people can start playing by 11:30 instead of 1. Latecomers can trickle in as they show up.

3 hours of playing time is not nearly so nice as 4 and a half or 5...

Beleve me, it is a big problem but.. I know for fell gamedays the reason I have to wait is that I make all the PCs leave the structure area, often by mist travel. Unless I have someone left in the start area to direct people, any one who trickles in wont be able to join the other players even if they find them untill I can bring them into game.
That said, this next gameday I dont see a huge problem starting the RP part close to on time (I need to talk to jim to make sure).

On that note, for all of you heavy make up players "cough" Dark elves "cough" show up a little early if you can and put on your makeup. If someone does it for you, make sure they show up early.

OR! And I know this may be a novel concept... Come in costume! Get dressed at home so you don't have to take as long at the park... or even get *entirely* ready at home so you don't have to take *any* more time when you get to the park.

Yeah, I know. You dark elves don't want to drive in your make-up. But just imagine Brad thumping L'il John, getting pulled over and screaming about how the man is keeping him down and pulling him over just because he's black...

well sadly not everyone can do this. I know I cant drive well with Kauss's belt on (for example) And we dont even want to go into the sars and scavangers.
But getting the basics on is a good idea.

I have driven to games as kitty, giant satellite ears included. . . Now those are some funny looks I get from people. . .

Heck, some of us have even gone to restaurants in costume. That was entertaining...

We ought to do that after the April event! O_O :D

That was awesome, Seth. And our cover story was even better! ^_^

And it's all about stealing the breadsticks.

I used to drive to gamedays in costume all the time. And pick up food prior. And go out to eat still garbed after.

Just a note, driving with feathers pinned to your head means you can't lean your head back. Ow.

Back in Cali I went to Safeway several times dressed as my Sarr. Nothing better then having a little kid following you around and saying, "Kitty".

OK, we're heading up this afternoon for family stuff and I'll be at the gameday (bright and early) on Sunday. See you guys then!
