Currently I do not believe there are regularly scheduled fighter practices; there is, however, a gameday this weekend, the details of which can be found
here.
Alliance primarily hold events at private camps that run from Friday-Sunday and are a mixture of role play and combat, while daggers and swords are legal combat weapons (among many others), hand to hand combat is not permitted. Alliance is a "light touch" combat system, where you pull your blows as soon as the connect, as compared with organizations such as Belegarth or Amtgard which are full contact systems that primarily focus on fighting, with much less role play.
If you're interested in attending an event or gameday, the best place to start is with the
rulebook, unfortunately there is a cost for the rulebook, but the E-book version can be downloaded for $6. Take a look around these forums, as well as our
