Come join us to work on improving the Faire Play site.

Work will include general cleanup and organizing, painting if the weather cooperates, light construction, trash cleanup and miscellaneous other work. Bring a good pair of work gloves if you have them, though some will be available on site.

What do you get in return? Goblin stamps for your work at 15 per hour (plus bonuses for those that work REALLY hard, owner discretion). You get Goblin stamps for your driving mileage. You get one LCO magic item pick if you work a full 8 hour day. You still have to spend gobbies on the item pick. You get to hang out with cool people and know you contributed to making the site better. You may even get to find out what songs are on Dee's iPod if you're really lucky.

Please note that people will be asked to leave site by 2pm on Sunday, as Dee and I have to leave at that time (unless another owner comes up and stays later on Sunday). You may arrive at any time on Saturday.

Please come prepared to work. The more help we get, the better the site will be.

Awww Darn...I can't make it. Still in Louisiana till the 27thish...Just missed it. Other wise I'd soooo be there. you should do one more before season ends...
 
We will likely have one in September as well.

Also, please post if you intend on making it so I know how many people to expect.

I can't make this one, but I'll talk to you some time about Amanda and I coming up before the October event to work on the guild more. If you have a work weekend in September, we may be able to do it then. If not, we'll see what else can be done to make it happen.

Work weekends are good fun guys. If you find yourself available, go for it. I guarantee the site will mean more to you when you play there after you see the improvements you helped make happen.

shucks I'd love to come to one of these but this falls on the same weekend as a CT event... ah well.
 
Yeah I am planning to get out to CT that weekend but if there is one in Sept I'll try and make it.

Hey, if anyone has a pick up truck or access to a big truck for the weekend, I have an entire kitchen that needs to be transported from my basement to the site. Heidi and I redid our kitchen last year and all the old cabinets and countertops and such can be used at the site, but they're too big for my car. Let me know if you can take at least some of them (or if you would like to donate the use of a U Haul for lots of goblin stamps)
