August event?

Good morning!

I had heard rumors that the August event was not being run by the usual plot team - is this a truthful rumor or crazy-talk? If so, will it be held outside of the Crossroads? The main reason we need to know is to decide what character to play - I might pull a different character out if it's not in the Crossroads for instance, and I imagine a few other people might be interested in pulling out alternate characters as well.

The August event will be run by the usual plot team, with the addition of Becca, who will be helping with that one event. There was an announcement at the end of the last game at closing ceremonies, but closing was later then usual and not everyone was there. Mark, Carmen, and I were invited to run that game, and intended to for several months, but then some fool scheduled his wedding too close to the event, and we had to pull the plug. ;P
 
The August event will be occuring in the mining town of Iron Falls. Through the game days there are developments occuring which will bring the PC's more and more into reasons for being there. We will also be contacting some of the players who do not come to gamedays, but would very definitely have reasons to go.
 
OK, thanks for the updates guys! It's definitely good to know that it will not be happening in the Crossroads, I will definitely be considering bringing a secondary character.

Yup, soon as Solomon perm'd people lost interest in playing their hoblings. It's a shame, really.
