August- Favorite Moments

First off I would like to thank all of Plot/NPCdom you guys ran an awesome event and I understand it was hard for you with only 3-4 people at a time, but I will let you know this has been one of my favorite events so far.

1. Losing to Cerberus's Controller and then beating said Controller to death and then challenging Cerberus to a duel essentially. I know that is not how it was supposed to go down but it was fantastic and great even if it could bite me in the rear eventually.

2. Impenetrable Dolphins! "THE OCEAN!" Let's go to the "HEALING CIRCLE!" Everything is "SOUTH!" or "DOWN!"

3. The whole werewolf combat of Saturday Night, it felt very on edge since it tapped almost all my spells in one go.

4. Getting invested into the healing circle :D Thanks Daphne, and Rob for Marshaling.

5. Getting to know all the PC's more and work with them more, I felt very comfortable with most everyone.

I prolly missed some things along the way, but once again thanks for a great event. Can't wait till September!

Thank you Alex for the feedback :). I am super glad you had fun, and I feel like I got to know the PCs a whole lot better this weekend. I also feel as though we engaged many more into some of the over arching plotlines which will only prove to be more fun for you all.

My favorites of the weekend from the other side were many. The first one right off the top of my head was definitely the dolphin conversation. When Rob came out as "Flips and ****" I about lost it for the whole event. Too funny you guys!

I loved watching Tyler take on 3 bears and beating them badly till he got tired.

Chess board sandwiches!

Alex throwing down with Cerebus was fantastic. The size of the coconuts that took was amazing. Really stood out.

The look on Cory's face when a werewolf was tearing apart his supply of arrows was priceless.

The werewolf fight with Jehan was one of my favorite combats ever in Alliance.

The way you guys defended the building was genius. You all did so well!

The roleplay from everybody this weekend was amazing. Real tears, real emotions, real victories. I couldn't ask for a better weekend.

The Plane of Sedah. Man did that go horribly wrong for the PCs but led to many interesting events to happen at the next event.

Daphne's candles! I almost shed my own tears for those.

So many other great moments. I would post more but we have to get working for the event in two weeks. Hope to see you all there!

Great Event Guys,I have seriously not laughed this much at an event in a long time. A few favorites in no particular order...

Watching the Jehan and Rufus duel, epic...around the 5th straight evicerate I was worried lol
Npcing the werewolf mod and infecting someone, Charm...follow me...infect , worked awesome

Glad you had fun Rob. We are so glad you came and we always look forward to your returns :).

I had a blast this weekend!

Bonding with Ahlana over a flute when the rest of the town was rifted out.
Finding a way to get a second set of shrine hopping weapons.
Silly O'clock mods of getting the daggers (griffin and spinx).
Breakfast visitors...Dolphins...ice trolls...and crazy mystics.
Casting my first ritual was great! Eve may be addicted to casting rituals now...
Cerberus mod period.
Lunch. "Why are you sitting alone?" "No room at the other tables." "Why don't you tell that dirty gypsy to move?" "Which one?"
Werewolves. Poor Jack. Great working together of the town.
Handing off resurrections (Eve is really good at this).
Resurrecting the 2 kids.
Chris's face when I walked up with my song book and candles.
After hours, Eve waiting on people.

Can't wait for the next event I can make!

Glad you had fun Daphne! I am super glad you go to come and I hope you can come up again soon!

(not fun till someone loses an eye......arm......spleen........ :D

It sounds like I missed one great event. Being sick sucks! I am seeing a lot of "favorite event so far", "Awesome event loved it all", "I had a blast..." and what parts/mods of the event you liked. What I would like to know is what about these parts/mods made them so enjoyable. Was it the fighting, talking, stakes, reason behind the mod, etc? Please send this information to brconvery@gmail.com or private message me. I'm sure Thetford would like the information too (rathnar22@hotmail.com). Knowing what makes an event enjoyable to you helps us write better events in the future. Thanks so much.

Thank you PCs! Interacting with you all really makes or breaks and event for me.

A few faves:
Pet pheonix.
Warewolf babysitting. Great RP with Rob O. (and I came away almost full from a battle that tapped everyone else :P)
Stalking a warewolf.
Riddles. I think creating them is actually proving more fun than solving them!
Playing the controller, and making sandwiches.
Sedah.... while it will bite me in the ***, thank you for letting me do it.
My weekend not ending. I walked away from the event still extremely engrossed in my current predicament. For me, it feels like the weekend hasn't ended.

Brigit, I think a big contributor to the enjoyment of this event was synergy. The pcs were working together. Plot was working together. And one of the big things for me, is we were never really told no, although our potentially terrible decisions I am still paying for...
