Awesome Moments from the 2008 season

Awesome moments:
- thread of the elements. the entire event was amazing, but specifically i'd say the phoenix mod. single greatest mod i've ever been on.
- being raised to guildmaster
- seeing my friend garathon being raised to squire
- performing at the ducal ball (and basically the entire entertainment portion of the tournament, there are some funny funny people at HQ)
- seeing glori curse bacon face
- long talks with Ivan about life before fairdale (love role playing with eric)
- stoopid o'clock ritual casting of ithicas lichslayer sword
- long philosophical debates with ulthoc
- NPCING!! that was much fun
- successfully introducing my other half to Alliance and seeing her really get into it
Terrible moments:
- koshi perming
having to identify his items at the guild afterwords for Rorii (that was rough)
- missing events due to work (specifically the national because it sounded so amazing)

Pritty much evey encounter I have had with Orlantha, with the honor combat at the end. Right before that fight I told Gwendara that "I will hold her off as long as I can, take care of everyone" and engaged thinking that I was toast.
Surrendering to a Dominon patrol to get Madox his freedom. The ensuing 30 mins of rediculusly awesome RP with random dominion mooks 125, and 126.
You know what, pritty much the ENTIER aug event counts.
Other great season moments include My first meeting with Orlantha and Tagas. Sacrificing the Morfangs to further my mission is going to bite me in the *** sooo hard.
You know what.....prity sure the whole dominion arc counts as favorites for me.
I can't forget being appointed to the new Biata council in fairdale. thats hot, and totaly unexpected.
chasing Lochabr thew the swamp with vex squad. Coggin loosing his boots and me still not getting the spares I gave him back.
you can keep em justin.
Almost stoping my oblitaration with both arms withered by biting the scroll and pulling hard. Ali's grip was just too good.
Catching emilio on an unscaled mod. Slay's= overkil to scholars.

- Tinder following me to our probable deaths after I went with Amaranthus alone. I swear to god, I almost cried.
- "THANK YOU SHERIFF HARRISON!"
- Pretty much any conversation I had with Flint as Sevaria.
- Scott giving me one of the funniest and fun plot responses I've ever gotten.
- SUN LI KAI!
- Placing 3rd in the Duchal Tourney -- my first tourney as a PC and probably my favorite event at HQ.

-Number one without a doubt...Phoenix mod. Wow, just wow.
-All the "gloves off" Alliance Mods...*all* were great.
-Getting Ikmoqs on our team...score!
-The RP with Amaranthus and finally getting to know that character
-Pretty much the entire Dominion weekend. That was just amazing for me. Great plot, great great tension, awesome RP with *all* the PCs and NPCs.
-Eating an obliteration from the Dagger of Morganna, how could I not mention that. Thanks Scott!
-RP with Ezri which turned into late night online RP to finish stuff up from IG. It's gotta be good IG if it takes over my free time, hah!
-The Kiergani mod at the lowbie. Creeeeepy and awesome!

~Meeting Khorwyn and the AWSUM RP with him and his "crew"
~I must say, the road trips with Collin, Chad, Lopez and I all squished into a little vibe, just toget us and all our junk down there. I love you guys!
~Meeting everyone! I never knew there were so meny wonderful , open, excepting, and loveing people out there. Totaly changed my view about alot of things.
~All-nighters with Chaz and the NPC crew.
~Death-by-trolls
~Nationals. I never relized our game was that big!
~All things Nathan Westwind. What a set of pipes!
~Meeting my battle-buddy Leona.
~Kirgani and gypsy swimming party!!!

Seeing everyone after five years, especially my long time buddies in Black Forest, was a real pleasure. Riding to & from the May event with Jimmy (Rasq) was great, as was RP'ing with him after so long. All the insanely awesome rogue stuff I got to do during said event was also great. Seeing & playing with so many old timers this past weekend was mind blowing, even if I had to leave so damn early due to crap I couldn't do anything about.
Knowing that I'll be back a couple times a year is the best part for me. I look forward to the 2009 season!

--- Occurences from Telokh's first event last year finally coming to light ---> he has a son with a Vansir woman! Ali's delivery of the news IG was priceless.
--- Catching an Oblit as Gyps this past weekend! Though I was was mildly confused when it "didn't stick".
--- Kids event. Anyone who missed the first one simply MUST show up to NPC for the next.
--- Ithica blowing the call when having to execute the Duke (FOIG) It was the ONLY time I have ever broken while playing Telokh.
--- Three way mental healing with Telokh and Ren with Gwen as a Guide. Awesome stuff. Telokh even called Ren a "little f---ing b---h". I was surprised that nobody ran to the Healers Guild from the tavern when we started arguing.
--- Ducal Tourney - Very interesting trying to do comedy entertainment as a Stone Elf. Coming in second for the whole Tourney was nice. Unfortunately, my streak of always placing 1st in Colors was broken.
--- Gyps and Tetsu together again, just this past weekend. Tetsu still needs to find a new Earth Stick.
I'm sure there are more. I'll get back to you. LOL

Same here I guess. Now that I'm as old as I've ever been in my life I like seeing old friends in a way I couldn't have imagined 5 years ago. Hopefully one of our few events will match up next season Gee.
As for my actual "I feel cool moments" it would have to be (in chronological order)
Seeing a group of players including the mighty Black Forest guys hesitating to rush an NPC. When I realized he was throwing arcane fear I just stepped in front of the pack and marched all alone right toward the NPC. Somehow all his fears missed me but it wouldn't have mattered. Too bad I couldn't effect the thing when I reached it.
Figuring out the "Have Ivan Drake gather her toys" anagram with Redcloud Sunday morning of the tournament and then watching Auric turn it in. Mike's (Trevor's) reaction was great.
