Hey Everyone!
I know some of you have been anxiously waiting... others probably forgot that we came in with cameras a year ago. But we're getting close! I'm putting some illustrated credits on the end as I type.
For those of you who have myspace accounts... Monster Camp now has its own page. myspace.com/monstercampmovie There's a preview, along with a little more info... but it will be updated regularly. Just from my experience, based on a few tester screeners I've done... a lot of people go into the film expecting to poke fun... and many come out not only relating to the material... but also want to play. A reviewer recently wrote me directly with the following: "I think people are definitely going to go into this thinking 'I can't wait for him to spoof these losers,' and then voila, you're showing they're human. Kudos." And for the main people in the film... I wouldn't be surprised if at fests you get treated with a bit of star status.
Also, anyone interested in doing some marketing for the film (ie. dressing up, boffing, etc.) let me know. I want to arrange some boffing exhibitions both in San Jose and Seattle, where we teach people how to boff, and get them fighting in the streets. Festival coordinators are up for it.
