Hey there all you SoMNers (especially those of you that are new to the Alliance),
Do you feel that your character's outfit is incomplete? Need just a few more points of armor to keep you alive? New to the game and need some armor? Just want some more armor to look snazzier?
I have somewhat of a solution! I recently have been doing some leather working and I am proud to say that I have created a few pairs of bracers that I want to sell (at a pretty bargain price too, compared to similar products on the internet. And you'll be buying locally, right from your neighborhood Gandian!). As of right now, I only have simple bracers, but soon I will be getting rivets and other things to make more fantastic stuff for y'all (that's not to say that plain ol' bracers are bad, of course, I'm just saying that I'll be able to do more patterned, personalized, and studded stuff in future). They're pretty darn comfy, actually (though I still recommend to some degree wearing sleeves with them so that the edges don't rub against your wrist repeatedly, which can become irksome after only a very short time). Once I get rivets and a bit more supplies, I will be branching out to all manner of useful leather LARP goods, including weapon frogs and other armor (Ooh! Ah!). As items are made, I will post them here, so keep an eye out,.
(Goodness, my hand looks rather undead in that second one, doesn't it?)
Anywho, they're made of quite nice quality leather (some I have are dark brown, some are black) with shiny gold colored grommets. I am selling these plain ones for $15.00 a pair, with the prices on the more detailed future bracers to be determined as they appear. If you have any questions, post them here for the good of the group. If you wish to purchase a pair, message me privately and I'll get that squared away for you. Unless you desire other arrangements, I will be able to get the bracers to the next SoMN event that you attend (or Chicago, if I happen to be going to the same event) and you will be able to pay at that time.
These are being sold on a First Come First Served basis, and I only have limited numbers, so if you want some, let me know sooner rather than later!
