All those whom this dreaming reaches,
For too long we have struggled with our own machinations, and allowed our own selfish ways prevent communication. Now is the time to extend our hands to all across this continent and unify despite, race, age, civilized and monstrous race; for if we do not there is not a promise of tomorrow.
Do not allow this false happiness to blind you to what Bliss truly is. A lie.
Dwarves and Stone Elves fight as droves of slaves for the first time in their lives contemplate their own freedom and what this means not only for them but, the country that they are now citizens of. Elves and Dryads bicker over whom can protect the forest and a nation; when in truth each as failed without the other. Two halves of the same spirit splintered for too long. Humans once known for their exploratory spirit and the heirs to a great man hide behind a wall designed to protect. And the young kingdom with so much promise almost shattered twice by civil unrest. This is the violence that was created to lull us into accepting a false happiness. Bliss and it's promise of utopia are not real.
Hope cannot exist without fear. Love cannot exist without hate. Happiness cannot exist without sadness.
If the rise of Bliss and Kaz’ik have not forced all the countries on the continent of Terna to hold up a mirror to their legacies of racial injustice, and separatism then the civil unrest that Kaz’ik has exploited to sew Bliss is a crack in the glass; complicating the picture and reflecting light into uncomfortable and unexpected corners. Now is the time to look at our own reflections. Allow that light to illuminate who we have become.
Are we lambs to be lead to slaughter? Or are spirited beings? Those who can see what is happening around us and, will take control of our destiny exercising our free will? Gaze upon your reflection and the crack in the mirror. Take a long time to contemplate this world and what we will leave our children.
United we are strong.
