Broken Shards Event 2 - Preregistration (Brooks)

Azath

Newbie
This is for the Alliance Oregon October 11 - 13, 2019 event at Brooks Memorial State Park, in the Broken Shards campaign!

Pre-reg is now OPEN!! (If you have missed the pre-reg deadline please still send in a pre-reg if you are planning on coming to the event. While you may not get the discount you can help make Friday night check-in faster and easier for all of us.)

Pre-reg will close on Friday, September 27th, at 11:59 PM. We will give you 60 goblin stamps if you pre-reg by this time. This gives you 18 days to pre-reg and receive 60 goblin stamps! All magic item and production conversions must be received by this time!

To Pre-Reg, please visit the event sign up page!

IMPORTANT:

  • SKILL CAP FOR THIS EVENT: 42 XP worth of skills
If you have more XP spent, you must select a valid subset of your skills to use that totals no more than 42 xp. Please build this character in the Alliance Freeplay database and then download a pdf copy with your battleboards and spell memorization by clicking the "View Battleboard" link on your character page and clicking "Printable Card With This Battle Board". Email this pdf to logistics@allianceoregon.com.
  • Magic Items and Production: LCO and Restricted magic items that did not originate in the Broken Shards campaign cannot be brought into game. We also ask that you bring as little production and coin as possible into the game, as an influx of production into the game will disrupt the mood and feeling we’re aiming for. The suggested amount of production is no more than 268 copper/production, which is what a starting character at the current xp cap of 42 would receive.
  • With the CMA official release and changes to how character skills are purchased, we would like to clarify logistics policy on the deadline to buy skills for use at an event. The soft deadline for build expenditures will always be the night two weeks before event. The actual hard deadline of when we print cards depends on our personal schedules and will not be announced in advance. Re-prints of cards after the hard deadline are possible, however you will be subject to the late registration event price and will not receive bonus goblin stamps for pre-registering.
  • If you are a PC and have spells to prepare, you will need to set memorization lists. If this is not complete it means you may end up going into game without spells prepared! Please refer to this link for instructions on how to create a memorization list and set it in your pre-reg. Heal your friends and harm your enemies by remembering to set your memorization list!
  • If this is your first post-release 2.0 game, remember that all magic items must be converted to 2.0, along with any production items that have been changed/removed. For details on how to get your items converted, please see the 2.0 Conversion Information thread! All conversions must be received by Logistics no later than Friday, September 27th at 11:59 PM! Conversions will NOT BE HAPPENING AT EVENTS. Please don’t bring us anything the day of the event. We will not be converting it, even if it’s just 3 tags.
  • Major omissions that hold up check-in will lead to your pre-registrations being considered incomplete and you will be subject to the at-the-door rate of $80!
EVENT FEES HAVE CHANGED:
  • Brand new PCs pay half off at their first game!
  • PC: $80.00 at the door, $70.00 if you pre-reg.
  • Advance page: $55.00 at the door, $45.00 if you pre-reg
  • Page: $45.00 at the door, $35.00 if you pre-reg
  • NPC: Free to play, NPC food is $25.00. Availability closes once the cook has bought food. It is strongly recommended that you pre-register and indicate you want to be on meal plan in your registration notes before September 28th. Please list any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have in the registration notes, as well.
You may pre-pay via PayPal by sending payment to paypal@allianceoregon.com along with your full name and that you are pre-paying for game (so we don't think it's a donation). Please limit it to just this game at this time.

If you do not wish to pre-pay using PayPal, you can also use our new Square Cash account by either using the app and sending us money via our $allianceoregon cashtag or by clicking on this link: http://cash.me/allianceoregon

Cabins List - New Wagonslist
Please use the above link to sign up for your bunks. I will be moving (not removing) people who do not pre-reg. Please do not move or remove ANYONE without their permission. Please do not move ANYONE on the Non-pre-reg column unless their name is on the Pre-reg list above.

A Frame 2 has an outlet and is reserved for people with medical needs. If you are one of those people, please email logistics@allianceoregon.com with your name. You do not need to include the nature of your medical need if you do not wish, but please ensure this is a MEDICAL need, not "I need a cell phone charger."

If you feel you should be on this list and are not, please email logistics and let us know. Thanks!

If you have questions, feel free to post them here, PM me, or email logistics@allianceoregon.com.

Hello everyone! We have 40 PCs registered for Broken Shards who have not indicated that they are tent-camping or using the medical cabin, which means we will very likely be at full capacity for beds in all 4 PC cabins! An important reminder is that beds are available on a "first registered, first served basis" and that you need to use the cabin sign up sheet that is linked below to guarantee your spot! That's a lot of exclamation points, but we really don't want anyone to come to site expecting they have a spot only to find everything is full up! :(

We do have an okay for the use of cots in the cabins, but it is crucial that the exit is not blocked and that all occupants have a clear path out in case of emergency.

If you are signing up last minute and all beds are reserved, please bring your own tent to site or arrange to share a tent with someone else. It is recommended that you have lights/glow sticks to mark your tent/tent lines in order to reduce tripping hazards. ⛺

We've still got more people registered for Broken Shards than we do beds, so we're asking for a couple things from the players who already signed up for a cabin

1) If you are not going to be attending please let us know ASAP so that we can free up that space.
2) A couple people said they might be bringing a cot into their cabin. If you're still planning to do that please let logistics know so that someone else can plan to use a bed in your cabin.

We really appreciate your help in this.

Cabins List

Hey folks, as I know that some of our BroS players went to Big West, may have traveled, or people may be squishing characters from other chapters, I wanted to go over our requested coin/production guidelines. As a reminder that while we cannot stop you from bringing in coin/standard production items from other places, we ask not to devalue the economy of New Wagonslist. As a guideline, if you don't have a good idea, a starting 42 build character is assumed to have starting gear of 268 copper. We're not tracking this, but this can act as a general idea for about how much treasure a player should have/be bringing into game for the event.
