Broken Spear Tribe

As I am getting ready to travel to give a full report to the nobily on many of the events surrounding the defence of Fairdale, there was a loose end I wished to confirm. We found a arm band of the Broken Spear bugbears on the body of a gnoll killed durring the defence of the town. I remember also hearing from the Trelhiem ranger who lead us to the balista staging area saying that times have gotten more difficult for him and his troops as "the broken spear bugbears have overrun our food supplies". I admit my attention was split as although we took out the balista at that time we were still preparing for a suicidal last stand.

Can anyone comfirm that the bugbears reported to be raiding the foodstufs of the Trelheim defenders were in fact from the Broken Spear Tribe?

PS: To the members of Vex Squad, I think you should meet the guy who gave us the tip about the balista. Said he was with a force of old Trelheim barronial forces still loyal to the Crown. They have had no contact with the Kingdom in 4 years and have been holding out in the contested lands. As soon as the line is stabilised to a point west of town, an effort to get those men and women some aid should be made. I can think of no one who would like that more than you guys.

I talked to the General out of the Bulwark in Trellheim. I do not remember his name; I apologize. He confirmed that the Broken Spear Tribe had taken over I believe the Garrison of Marrion's Bridge. I may be wrong on that name. This is where many of their food supplies were coming from. They have over 400 commoners in their garrison at the Bulwark and are in desperate need of supplies. I have asked the Duke's permission to lead or be part of a force going that way to bring supplies and relief to them.

Thank you yet again. If your leading then those refugees are in good hands. I will include this new information about the Broken Spear in my report.
May the wind always be at your back,
