Building a Monster Camp...

So the Crossroads staff has been working like crazy writing race packets and monster cards and finding campsites, and now it's time for the nitty gritty... we have to stock NPC camp.

Christina and Tab have decided on a really generous compensation system, and there's a list posted in the Catskills: OOG forum (http://www.alliancelarp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=111&t=5001) of costume/weapon/makeup stuff that we're looking for. We also need things like cardstock, monster-card binders, paper, duct tape, Sharpies, stopwatches, walkie-talkies, paper cutters... anything that you can think of that makes your weekend go smoothly (as a PC or an NPC!).

You can email crossroadsprops@gmail.com, or PM me here with any questions or to sign up for a particular task.

For those who live outside the CT/MA/RI area and would like to help out, Home Depot/Tandy Leather/Visa/JoAnne's gift cards are always useful, too! Email before you buy one that's not a national chain, to make sure there's one near us, or we can use it online! If you'd like to sew or construct something (for those crafty types), email for a list of necessities and an address. (and we'll give you GS for the $$ you spend on shipping!)

We compensate 2 GS per dollar (and 20 GS per hour of your time), and the rest of the donation policies can be found here: http://alliancecrossroads.com/page/show/current-players/donations, along with some awesome photography!

We just had our first staff meeting of the new year, and one of the big things we talked about was props.

C'mon Alliance community, help us stock our NPC camp! Help us outfit our NPCs with awesome reps and costumes, and props that make the PCs go "Woah..."

Same deal, go to the Catskills OOG forum to view an updated list of what's needed. Email crossroadsprops@gmail.com to sign up for a task, and I'll direct you to the staff member in charge of that particular thing. It's a big task, so we've divided it up and I'm the ringleader and most of the time Person In Charge of checking items off the list.

From all of us on staff at Crossroads, we can't wait to start the season, and we hope to hear from many generous folks (or just those who want to get rid of unused costuming/weapons/props!)
