I am looking to go to the SF event over the fourth of Jully weekend. I would be wanting to leave the evening of the 2nd to split the trip in half and get there at a reasonable time on Thursday as it is about a 14 hour drive. On the way back, I would be going straight through.
Realities of the trip -
Gas costs a lot right now. Figuring things at an average gas price of $4.35/gallon it looks like nearly $70/person if I fill my car (3 people plus me).
This is a tent site. There are bathrooms and showers, but no housing structures.
Cooking is camping style, from what I can figure out. They require a California food handlers card to use the kitchen.
Right now I have two spots open. Anyone interested?
