Chapter Donation questions...

Hey guys!

So, I just saw this post about donations for chapters and their need for certain items and such. I was wondering where to find the donations list for each chapter? Also, donation cash or items = goblin points per dollar spent. Which makes me also wonder what I could buy at each chapter if I had goblin points available. Finally, I am wondering how each chapter does their blankets of experience for goblin points. Is it universal? Thank you kindly!

Someone should post it in "Discussions" with all the links to each chapters donations page AND "what you can buy with your gobbies" page NOT TO MENTION the cost for a blanket of XP for your character. Hmmm. I think I will check that out myself and make a post for all those interested in donating to the game as a whole.
 
Also note that the needs are constantly changing, lists are not always updated, and many other logistical issues that go with a volunteer staff, so your best bet is to directly contact the staff of each chapter.

As for what you can buy, those rewards differ and the redemption system/limits may be different in each chapter. There is not really a one size fits all national policy, as each chapter has different needs and different player bases that respond to different incentives.

There is also the issue of game balance for certain items in certain campaign settings (for example, one chapter may limit Earth Aura weapons). A lot of the rewards are designated LCO (local campaign only) items that only work in that chapter and would require special permission to be used in other chapters, and of course each chapter has different policies regulating those LCO items.

Basically, each chapter is different by design.

AFAIK, weekend XP blankets always cost 60 gs, and monthly blankets always cost 30 gs. I believe that this is official policy, but I'm not certain. The point is moot anyway since there is no national policy for awarding goblin stamps (that I'm aware of), so chapters can be as generous or stingy as they like. FWIW, all of the chapters that I've interacted with about goblin stamps - HQ, GB, NJ, NH - have been very far on the generous side of that scale, and I'd imagine the same would be true of other chapters. People like it when you give them stuff / do work for them!
 
That is correct, Mike. All event blankets for a 2-day weekend event are 60 gobbies, regardless of chapter. All single-day blankets are 30 gobbies. These are set by the National team and cannot be changed locally.
