characters and rambling

So is there a limit on the amount of characters a person can have active at one time? i'm wondering if it'd be a good idea if i brought clothes for a different character and made one as a backup just in case Jax dies horribly at the next event *which i'm assuming is a good possibility*.

Also, if someone plays a scavenger character, do they have creative license over how the character looks/etc., or are there guidelines they have to follow? and how much can i tweak a character?

You can have more then one character on the books at one time, so if you wish to make a secondary you can.

As for the scavengers, I believe that you are suposed to atleast make an attempt to look like the animal in question, but as for color and what not, as long as it fits for animal it should be fine.

The basic rule of thumb for scavvies is to look like your race. If you're a monkey scavenger, don't just be a human with a tail. If you're a cat scavvie, don't just buy a set of cat ears and whiskers. These are barely acceptable to start with, and in the long run, you can expect to be asked to step up your repping of your race.

On characters, you can have at least three active on Seattle's books... at least, I do. You can, in theory, have as many as you wish. Many chapters limit how many you can store on their local database. I wouldn't recommend having more than three. I barely get to play two of them, much less the third.

We do not have a limit on how many characters you can have, but I do not think we have ever had anyone with more than four.

Keep in mind that if you dont have a death on your card, it will be very hard to perm at the event without a lot of work on someone's part. (not saying you cant, just saying it might be hard.)

As I recall from the stories of Zane somone did once create and their character and perm in the same event. It took skill though.
