Chicago Gavaria LCO Effects

These effects will be in both Chicago campaigns throughout the year. Any additional LCO effects may be added in posts below

Blood Drain

This is delivered like a killing blow, only to an incapacitated creature, but does not cause the target to die. Instead target’s total body is reduced by the NPCs Blood Drain number. This is stackable and is fixed at the next logistics period or by an in-game effect (FOIG). If a target reaches zero base body, they resurrect as if hit by a disintegrate.

Ex: Iggy is bleeding out, a Vampiric slime approaches him, it counts I drain your blood 1, I drain your blood 2, I drain your blood 3; blood drain 1! Iggy loses 1 total body from his card. The creature attempts again and succeeds, he has lost 2 total body. On the third attempt the creature is interrupted, Iggy still has lost 2 total body when revived by his allies.

Spray

Delivery

A creature throws a number of packets declaring Spray X Effect. Anyone struck by one or more packets to the body takes the effect or damage once. Spray Effects can be blocked by weapons and shields.

Fade from Party

At any point in which a player feels like they need to remove themselves from a game situation, whether they are experiencing physical or emotional pain, fatigue, panic, or for any other personal reasons that the player believes it is necessary for that player to step away from the situation, they may call "Fade From Party" and that player should physically leave the location completely. They will assign another player in the scene as their fade to party member before walking away with hands on their head, then putting on a white headband on as soon as they are able. This nomination player acknowledges that the FFP player’s character is still in the scene and is “attached” to their nominated player. Should the nominated player resurrect during the scene while the FFP player is away, it will happen to the FFP character as well.

If a staff member was not present or doesn’t know about the situation, one person, player or NPC, should quickly locate and inform staff. All other players should carry on as normal. Staff will speak with the FFP player and summon the Medical Marshal or any other persons needed if necessary. When (if) the player is ready to return to the game, they should speak with staff or NPC’ before returning to their nominated player into the scene or the module.

Flight

Monster Ability
Flight is a monster ability which is represented by Waving arms in a flapping motion over the head. Flying monsters are immune to melee weapon attacks and ranged attacks made within 10 feet of the target. Any binding spell other than slow will force the creature to the ground as an alternate effect to the spell. Flying creatures may take flight or land on a three count.
