Bernadette Burnitdown got into a disagreement with some high-ranking Flame Elementals, and they rift back to their home plane to prepare for a retaliatory invasion. Bernadette feels a bit terrible about this, and decides she wants to prepare her friends for the coming battle.

Part 1) The next logistics period, she prepares two Choose Flaws manipulations for the Planar Asylum ritual scroll.

She gathers twenty of her comrades into the local Celestial Circle of Power and casts a Planar Asylum. She applies both Choose Flaws (half damage from flame, double damage from stone). Are all targets flawed accordingly, as they are all targets of the Asylum?

Part 2) That same logistics period, she prepares a single Choose Flaw manipulation for a Spirit Lock ritual. After casting the Asylum, she gets another friend and Spirit Locks an item to him, also applying the Choose Flaw (half damage from flame, double damage from stone). This ritual targets both spirit -and- item, so does the item user effectively get double the flaw?

Yes.

Likely no. The RAW don't directly answer the question, but you can probably reason it out using other existing mechanics.

The flaw should probably only be applied to the "primary" target of the Spirit Lock/Link. This is the same logistical philosophy that you do not put the duration of the Spirit Lock on the Secondary target.

I'd agree with Seth's reasoning on both.

For the second, I'd reason that its one ritual, so there's only one application of the flaw.
