Clarification: Retiring a character upon black bead pull

Greetings,

It has come to our attention that the text put into the 1.2 ARB is slightly different from what was actually voted on for the death changes announced last summer:

http://alliancelarp.com/forum/threads/rules-changes-character-death-and-buybacks.16955/

Specifically, this section of text:

Die but create a half-build character:
You may also have your character permanently die as above but start a new character with half the Build Points (rounded down) and half of the deaths (rounded down) of your dead character (including the final death). Your body will reform where it died (as above).

should read:

Die but create a half-build character:
In addition to having your character permanently die as above you may immediately retire the character as per the following section, "Killing off Your Character", save that you may not turn in any items for goblin point compensation (as all items are left where the character died in-game).

This changes 2 things: (a) it ensures that this section properly references the "Killing off Your Character" section, which has more detail on the process, and (b) appropriately sets the character's deaths to half the total rounded up (as noted in the "Killing off Your Character" section).

Thanks,
Bryan Gregory
