Hello All!
I wanted to put this in its own thread in case it was missed in the favorites...
I just wanted to thank everyone who helped with cleanup at the end of the event. I think you all set some sort of record with cleanup time, particularly considering that the guilds had to be packed, decorations taken down and all the hatches battened...
Everyone on the cleanup list got some extra gobbies for your efforts as a token of thanks. We were alll able to leave site, enjoy each other's company at dinner and get home at reasonable times, and that's always the best way to end the weekend.
I'd also like to extend a special thanks to Laura for keeping the tavern running all weekend. It's a very much underappreciated job, but it adds so much to the atmosphere. There are some extra gobbies in your account as well.
I really felt like at the close of this event that the feeling of camraderie and goodwill from the tournament carried over out-of-game, and it really made me smile. I'm very much looking forward to seeing you all again in a few weeks.
