College LARPing Class

Why didn't they have classes like this when I was in college? University of Washington had a class this Spring called "Heroes and Monsters: Understanding Live Action Role Playing Games."
It's pretty cool that they're offering classes outside of the norm, even cooler that they had a class on LARPing.

I wish my collage offered this... and maybe come one souled foreword the class information b out there local chapter LOL.... just a thought.
 
Considering that there are more than 10 DIFFERENT active LARP games in Wa State, I'm not surprised about the class, nor would be surprised if they took field trips (I played in 4 different LARPs when I lived out there)
