Reserved my copy today, Despite the poor ending to the first one. The game was bad a$$... this one will be just as good (though i'm more into the history, the first took place in)

I played the first for a day or so and couldn't get into it. Graphics were good but it felt like I was just playing along to a pre-ordained script. Like I didn't have any free will. Maybe if I had played longer, but it just never appealed to me.
 
AC was a good game, and I'll probably pick up the sequel sometime in the future, but for right now its all about Dragon Age. Granted its alittle more hands off than AC is, I felt good being able to control what moves I was doing as far as the swing of a blade went but I think story wise and the freedom in DA is far greater. The game, the voices, the story have all been masterfully exectued to a degree that I had not been expecting at all.

I totally agree man...

Plus - Left 4 Dead 2 comes out the same night as Assassin's Creed 2... Zombies > Assassins. :)
 
I loved AC at first and then got bored less than halfway through. Every mission seemed the same. Climb some towers, open the map, kill some dudes, go back to weird science lab. The graphics and animation were awesome, but they only went so far. Left for Dead was awesome, but the single player version was SO short. I shouldn't be able to beat a game in less than 3 hours on any setting.

Dead Rising 2 is also coming out soon. Zombies in a shopping mall are always awesome. My complaint about the first one is that you HAD TO do things in certain windows of time and if you missed them you pretty much had to start the game over or not get "the win", though there was always the survival win.

I am totally psyched about this game coming out. I very rarely finish video games, but this one had me at hello.

The graphics were awesome. I really enjoyed the setting and the story and the way the two stories interconnected.

I will probably wait until the winter break to start playing though. I have a feeling this game could be bad for my gpa. ;)

of course girls play video games, sure its a minority of us. but still there are those of us who play.
ive been known to play some all day with out even stopping for lunch.
