The Keeper on duty at the permanent circle in the center of the circular courtyard within the enclave is jolted from his drowsiness with the first tremor. His open spell book falling from his lap. He stands from his position under a tree as the shaking continues. Noticing the gathering dark, he looks up to see the sky darkening from the direction of the castle.

Within moments, a spirit appears within the circle. The Keeper steps in the circle to begin the resurrection. Then another, and another, two, five, and more. This has caught the attention of all in the courtyard. He looks to the nearest Keeper, just outside the circle, with fear in his eyes. "Get the Fatespinner."

"She just left." the other replies.

"Then find whatever master you can and get back here. We will need all the help we can get." His quavering voice comes more forcefully than intended, but it has the desired effect. The other Keeper runs for the stairs to the third level.

Quynn reaches the courtyard, and takes in the panicked and frightened faces of the keepers and acolytes gathered there, the noise from all the talking and their mounting fear is almost deafening.

"Enough!" the old elf yells out, the force and power in her voice snapping the panicked youngsters into silence.

"We are EarthWeavers! The realm counts on us to remain calm and to see to the wounded in times of trouble, be it on the battlefield or here in our own city. This is not the time to succumb to fear and shock. Pull yourselves together. These people in the circle are from the palace...based on these numbers there will be more injured. Gather all bandages and healing supplies and get your young butts over there and get to work. Once things are under control here Master Wayanwood or myself will be along presently. Now Move!" Quynn's words and the anger snapping in her eyes has launched the enclave members into action and everyone begins following her commands and things start getting done and slowly the panic begins to subside.

Walking slowly forward and entering the circle she puts her hand on the keeper inside and says in a calm voice "All right youngling, let's get these people taken care of shall we?" Looking at the spirit of the great Magi Corstar, a face she didn't expect to see here today, and then taking in the dozens of other spirits still arriving, Quynn nods the young keeper and they begin getting to work, Quynn starting with the Magi herself.
 
The Keeper and Master Farrowan Wayanwood reach the courtyard in time to see Master Quynn step into the circle.

"Come on, son, we'll take this crew to the castle and see what we can do there." Master Wayanwood crosses the courtyard, giving commands to fetch potions, bandages and as many capable hands a possible.

"Bring the wagons out and load them up. We leave immediately!" he calls as he heads for the front doors.

"There you are Lady Corstar, you are fully restored and some protective spells on you for good measure." Master Quynn finishes up with the Magi, who is looking quite pissed off at having been blown up by a ritual backlash...."You may leave the circle when ever you wish".

Quynn waits to see if the great Magi needs anything else. All the while keeping a close eye on the other keepers in the circle as they continue to bring people back.
 
One of the healers that had been sent with master Wayanwood to the castle comes hurrying back into the courtyard. On seeing Master Quynn, he rushes over to her, "Master Quynn," he says between deep breaths, "The Fatespinner needs you *huff* at the Arcane Sanctum. *gasp* There's a wagon waiting for you outside." He bends over, his hands on his knees to catch his breath.
 
Quynn finishes up with resurrecting a guards spirit before turning to the out of breath healer. "Very well young man, I shall leave at once." Stepping out of the circle she motions to one of the many keepers still in the courtyard and says "Take over for me in the circle, we still have spirits to bring back".

"Yes Master Quynn" the keeper says and immediately steps into the circle and gets to work.

Quynn sets out towards the front door to the waiting wagon.
