Covid 19 Cancelled Events

In response to the need to cancel events in light of the Covid 19 outbreak, the Owners are taking steps to limit this situation’s impact on our game.

The first step in this process is to implement the following temporary rule.

Chapters may award XP for any Event scheduled (posted either on the CMA or the Alliance LARP Forums) prior to March 14, 2020 which is cancelled due to any issue related to Covid 19, including but not limited to unavailability of location, staff illness, or abundance of caution, with the following limits:
  • Players can receive Normal Credit as if the event took place: You’ll be able to immediately buy back these events, with Goblin Stamps, as they would have occurred. All the cancelled events have been set to their original values.
  • Any Player who receives credit for an Event may purchase Alternate XP Credit for the Event normally, as though they attended the Event: Alternate XP Credit allows Players to gain XP for a second Character for an Event and costs $10 per Logistics Period of the Event.
If you intend to take advantage of this option, please do not purchase the event with Goblin Stamps, instead contact the Chapter’s Logistics team so they can apply credit to your Characters correctly.
  • No NPC blankets or Treasure will be awarded for these missed events.
This change is temporary and will expire on 1/1/21.

The Owners are discussing additional responses to this developing situation and more information will be posted in the forums as it becomes available.
