In celebration of the royal nuptials, Master Weaver Jonas is making his personal Boxing Constructs available for ongoing team bouts throughout the Festival. All attendees are invited to form teams and try their hand at Construct Boxing League Play. While there will be no recorded rankings or bracket, Master Jonas has offered up a small purse from his own pockets to each winning team (until his coffers run dry).
Each contest is between two teams of three combatants, each piloting a Construct specifically enchanted for League Play. Each team must be composed of exactly one Heavy (carrying a two-handed sword), one Quick (two weapons), and one Defender (sword and shield). The Constructs do not allow the wielder's Spirit to express their combat or magical skills, however they will imbue the pilot with the ability to wield the appropriate weapon for that Construct. The contest can only transpire in the Boxing Ring which is specially designed for League Play. The rules of League Play are easy to understand when demonstrated and Master Jonas will be available early Saturday morning to set the combat ring and prepare his Boxing Constructs. Contestants are encouraged to play multiple times, mixing and matching teams and Constructs to their liking. The Master Weaver hopes you can enjoy the Constructs in a spirit of fun and good will.
