Crossbow Dimensions

Per chart: Minimum & Maximum Length
Light crossbow 14" - 24"
Heavy crossbow 25" - 32"

Crossbows are made of closed cell foam only—no PVC core is allowed. The bow section should be between 12 and 24 inches and the stock should be between 14 and 30 inches.

I'm going to assume that the discrepancy between the 32" & 30" measurements for the max size is a typo and go off of the chart, but a clarification on that would be appreciated.

The real question is this: Is there a seperate min and max length for the bow portion of the light and heavy crossbows?

Essentially, was it meant that I would be allowed to build a 30" long heavy crossbow with a 12" bow portion and a 14" long light crossbow with a 24" bow section and have them both be legal?

The bow measurement is for all crossbows. Both examples should be legal. 32" should be the proper stock measurement.
