Citizens of Gavaria,

On the 31st day of the First Month of every year, we celebrate Crossing Day to commemorate the founding of our Kingdom. The world as we know it was brought to its knees, but we persevered. Though the new year has heralded new threats to this Kingdom, we stand united to celebrate our Crossing Day. To that end, Her Majesty Queen Pavia Gavar has decided to sponsor Crossing Day feasts and celebrations across the Kingdom.

The Royal Feast shall be held on the 31st at Atupal amongst her friends and allies, the Atupali. There she shall make her final decision on the appointment of the Duke of Passwall. Her Majesty also invites the Atupali to participate in the traditional competitions of Crossing Day! Second Regent Julius Psiliká has graciously volunteered to serve as our master of ceremonies for these competitions. Duchess Ingrid Sevara has been appointed chief judge of the Competitions.

Competition of Crafts: Whatever you can make with your hands, be it painting, sculpture, weaving, or any other craft. Before the first course is served, the high table will be reserved for displaying contestant entries. Please have your submission presented by the time the Judges arrive for social hour before dinner. Winners will be announced before the Competition of Bards begins.

Competition of Drinks: Brewers, vintners, and mixologists are invited to bring their finest beverages to serve with dinner. Entrants should come prepared with their submission ready to serve by the time dinner begins. Entrants should also prepare a list of ingredients and potential allergens to show alongside their beverage. Winners will be announced before the Competition of Desserts begins.

Competition of Bards: Masters of song, speechcraft, and poetry are invited to perform for all attendants during dinner. Entrants are asked to confirm their entry with Regent Psiliká before dinner is served. Winners will be announced before the Competition of Desserts begins.

Competition of Desserts: Bakers, confectioners, and cooks are invited to present a single sweet dish celebrating Crossing Day. Entries should be prepared in advance to serve at the conclusion of Dinner. Entrants should also prepare a list of ingredients and potential allergens to show alongside their dish. Questions or concerns should be directed to the head chef of the feast. Winners will be announced before the end of the evening festivities.

Her Majesty looks forward to the festivities and celebrating Crossing Day with the Kingdom.
