Dark Elf Winter Gear

So I have been trying to come up with an idea of what a good Dark Elfy winter attire would be like and have not succeded. I was thinking of getting a leather coat from a thrift store and removing the sleeves.

I know all you Dark Elves have ideas....lets hear em!

I would be thinking something hooded to try & keep all that snow-glare out of the eyes would be a must.

I do have a cloak thats temporary. I am in the process of making a better cloak with double layers, I'm now thinking of somehow implementing a thermal layer I can remove for non-cold months.....hmm....

Get a good cloak, I cannot stress this enough. Making a full-circle cloak isn't that hard, either. If it's for winter, make it out of wool and line it with either cotton if you're in a temperate area, or if it's really cold, line it with fleece. Maybe two layers if it's going to snow. For summer, I'd recommend giving in and getting a second cloak of a lighter material.
