Hey, for those few who haven't seen the Darkon documentary yet (It came out a couple years ago, actually), it's now playing on Hulu at http://www.hulu.com/watch/68489/darkon
I've seen this documentary a couple times, I just have to say that I believe it to be very well done. It doesn't try to persuade you one way or another. It really just reveals a snapshot of the IG and OOG lives of a few of it's players, showing where the two meet and run over into one another.
I imagine that most of you have seen the trailer already, but just in case, here's the promo:

As larping continues to become more and more prevalent in America, it's interesting to take a look at other systems and games that are being played. The good folks over at http://www.calimacil.com (A foam weapons maker from Canada) have a guest writer who will attend different larp events, and then review them on their blog. Maybe Alliance should give her an invite?
I know for many of you this movie is old news, but at least it's free to view now! I'd really like to give Darkon a try, but I think that I would ultimately prefer a game with a bit more RP "meat" to it. Anyhoo, it's 1:30 am, I'm a security guard, and bored to tears.
EDIT: Huh, apparently this has been up on Hulu for several weeks now. Oh, well.
