Downtime response delay

To those that aren't aware of my current situation. If you haven't received a reply about your downtime being received, that's because I'm moving to Renton this weekend and starting a new job next Monday. Downtimes have been on the back burner due to that. My intent is that once the move is complete, to get all those notifications out and begin working on them alongside the work that's currently going into the Nationals game. All I ask is a little patience and understanding, and I'll do my damndest to get those downtimes written up and sent out prior to the Nationals game.

If that is not possible due to the real world situation I will let you all know as quickly as possible, and roll it all into the downtimes prior to the season closer. Thank you all for your interest in the game, and all the work you put in to making ours an amazing chapter of Alliance.
 
I've reviewed all the downtimes and sent some of them back for revision and resubmission. There have been some trends over the past couple of games downtimes from multiple people that I want to go over.

1. Downtimes will never provide a mechanical advantage. They are designed for information, flavor and plot hooks. I'm more than happy to write a story about what the Waupani are up to while the rest of the main story is going on. Downtimes will never give you access to secret Waupani woogy magic stuff.

2. Tacking on a bit where "While talking to the Waupani chief, I also will try to steal their cultural artifacts." at the end is kind of a cop out. Please try to keep it focused, otherwise I either need to kick it back, or give both parts of your downtime short shrift. I'd rather write a more focused downtime in depth on one subject than a shallow downtime on the three people you wanted to talk to about the same thing.

3. Please make sure the following information is on all downtimes for all participants:
OOG Name
IG Name
OOG Email address.
All participants have been CC'd into the downtime request.

Other than that, and those that got kicked back for revisions, I'm going to do my damndest over the next two weeks to have these downtimes done in time for Nationals. If it proves to be too Herculean a task for a mere mortal such as myself, I'll let you all know as soon as I know. Those who did get a revision kick-back, please get the revision back to me ASAP.

Thank you all for showing this interest in our game world, and wanting to dig into it deeper through downtimes. You are all amazing and I'm proud to have you as players.
 
Hello, after going through the current crop of downtimes and verifying that the focus of them was not on National plot lines, but on Seattle plot lines, I will be scheduling the responses for the next Seattle game. This will free up more time and energy to make the National event as awesome as possible. With that decided, please feel free to begin sending in your second downtime actions. Those submissions will be open until Sunday 22.May.16 (a week after Nationals).
