Dragon Stamp Question

Hey, thank you for updating and posting the new Dragaon stamp rules and guidlines. One question. I did not see "Skill Store" on the price list for item creation. Does this mean creating skill store items (such as dodge, evade, slay, etc) is not allowed via Drangon Stamps, or is this an oversite?

The rituals available for Dragon Stamp item creation are all listed and have not changed - the post was updated only for clarity and to let people know where to email for the time being.

I'm also a big fan of the charts!

Maybe I'm just a chart nerd though...

I did have one question. It appears that the guidelines allow for someone to spend Dragon Stamps to award another character Dragon Blankets within their home campaign. Does this need to be accompanied by justification? Or can a player simply choose to spend dragon stamps to buy dragon blankets for whoever they choose (assuming they never buy more than 12 within a year)?

Cheers,
Stephen

So the answer is no, you can not make a skill store item. got it.

Silvering will cost one Dragon stamp for every 5 inches of the weapon.
Why was the measurement system brought back for this? I assumed that the Ownership did away with the "Cost per inch of silver" years ago for a (good) reason. (At least, I think it was a good reason, that was a pain to track). Will the measurement system be brought back into the next edition of the rules?

In terms of offering DS Blankets to another character, that can be done with a normal request.. I don't see any reason to require a large justification process.. as you mentioned, the limit still applies.

I honestly don't know about the measurements - this has been consistent since Dragon Stamps were first introduced. To my knowledge there is no intention of changing that in the rulebook, and it is only applicable for DS created items.

Because consistency to us is like water to the wicked witch of the west.

So I can buy dragon blankets for someone else's character? I always assumed it had to be one of my own characters...

A very interesting concept in a world where the same tag goes on a min or max length longsword, despite the difference in length.

It's actually old verbiage that should most likely be updated.
