This elixir is highly addictive. It gives the victim a feeling of euphoria that lasts about an hour. Any time the addicted character does not get one dose of Euphoria in a 24 hour period, one Body Point is temporarily deducted from that character’s maximum Body Points. The 24 hour period is calculated from the time of the initial ingestion of the Euphoria elixir."
Is it readily apparent to an addicted PC that they are being weakened? For example would a PC who became addicted unwillingly and desires to resist the urge realize that they were doing so at the expense of slow death?
When are lost body points restored? Only upon taking the Euphoria Antidote? Or also upon taking more Euphoria?

"Euphoria Antidote

This antidote is the only thing other than resurrection that releases a victim of Euphoria. It will restore the victim’s normal Body Point maximum but does not cure any Body Points lost during the addiction."
If a character is actively experiencing the effects of Euphoria at the time of taking the Euphoria Antidote, does only the addition end, or do the effects of Euphoria also end?

The PC can totally know they're Euphoria'd, and know that they're going to slowly die from the effects, much like you and I know that long-term drug addiction will have major detriments to your health. However, under the effects of a Euphoria, the character simply -may not care-. That's ultimately a RP decision. :)

All effects of a Cause end when the Cause is cured. In this case, a Euphoria's pleasant state of mind will end when the Euphoria is cured. Example:

Zeth and his friend do battle with Euphoria Elementals! They manage to afflict Zeth, who's had a pretty rough life the last few months. His buddy, a Mystic Wood Elf, gasps, and immediately knocks Zeth unconscious, feeding him a Euphoria Antidote, before awakening him.

Zeth immediately Deaths the guy, because that was rude, AND FOR A MOMENT LIFE WAS WORTH LIVING.

I hope that example helps clear it up. ;)
